Messi transfer fact
The fact that Messi moved to Inter Miami
Inter Miami coach Phil Neville said that discussing the transfer of Lionel Messi, the French football team Paris Saint-Germain, to the ranks of the American club is a "hypothetical" talk.
Messi's contract with his French club expires at the end of the season, and his name has been strongly associated with a move to Miami.
It was reported that Barcelona would like to bring Messi back to the Camp Nou, as his return would be exciting to the club that bid him farewell to tears in August 2021.
Inter coach Neville, who signed a new contract on Monday, spoke of his appreciation for Messi but refused to be drawn into speculation that the Argentine could move to the MLS.
When asked about the possibility of signing Messi, the former Manchester United player said: "I think it's a hypothetical thing. The best player in the world, I look forward to seeing him play in the World Cup, along with many great players."
He added, "In fact, we brought it into our stadium 5 or 6 weeks ago, when the Argentine national team was here. I watched all the training sessions to see these players on our main stadium and our second stadium. It was something special for the club."
"And I think when you talk about personalities, when you talk about humility, when you talk about the right types of people, the Argentine team and their staff are absolutely amazing. Amazing for our club."
"I think we were lucky here," he said. "We had Barcelona and Argentina here, and now the US women's team is here, some of the players are training there now. This is amazing for this club, and it shows the level of the facilities we have."
